Always put my cart back! My son worked for Walmart and did carts and realized it not an easy job when you have to walk all over the parking lot gathering stray carts.

i’m handicapped, I have trouble walking because of my spine, and I always put things put the carts back and fix the cart rows that are already there‼️‼️‼️

I don’t understand why people say they shouldn’t have to put their carts back. You spend 2 hrs pushing the thing around the store and you can’t take a couple more minutes to put it in the collection area. They’re not even asking you to walk it back into the store. Don’t be lazy and inconsiderate.

The more things that the store has to take care of (collecting carts…) the more people have to be paid to take care of things and the more things are going to cost. Maybe it doesn’t actually work that way but I think it does.

I always take the cart back inside the store, period.

I happened to be in the Walmart parking lot one day during an election year. I saw a young fit lady that was running for our county Register of Deeds going to her car with a cart. I thought if she returns her cart to the cart holder I will vote for her. Well needless to say the cart was left right where she unloaded the cart into her car, and I didn't vote for her!!! This was a sign to me that she wasn't a responsible person.

I always put my cart in the corral so it's not in the way for the next person to park. I often grab an empty cart and push it into the store and use it. If everyone did that there wouldn't be carts all over the lot. You're walking to the store anyway, why not push a cart in?

I hate it when people throw garbage on the ground! So, years ago I told myself "Well, do you want to be mad all the time when you see garbage on the ground? Why not just pick it up and be happy?" In the small apartment building I live in, people who live here throw garbage everywhere. Some tenants clean their car out and throw trash down by their car! So, I started picking it up almost every day. In a short while, there was less and less garbage thrown down. Now it is rare to see even small bits of garbage on the ground here. For a fact, the people who live here were indirectly trained to put garbage in the nearby dumpster. It is true, people copy what they see! Makes me happy that our parking lot is clean all the time! Yes!

Yes. People need to take responsibility and put their carts in the designated area. It’s like people at self checkout who leave their basket on the counter, don’t bother to grab their receipt, and leave items they didn’t purchase. No consideration for the next customer. (These) People are thoughtless!

I always take my cart back. I live in FL and it`s hot and if I can help out one of the youngins by taking just one cart back then I do. I`m 73 yrs old.

At 112 degrees in Arizona I don't put my cart back but in the winter I don't have a problem doing it.

I aways put my cart away. Even in the snow and rain.

My family has always put the cart back. My parents showed good character by doing this and we followed their example. It shows respect for other people and care for the workers who have to gather all these carts in the heat, rain and snow. Good character is sorely lacking in today's world and it's something that needs to be taught again to our children.

I put them back except in super bad winter weather when it’s too hard for an old lady because I am about to freeze to death. Then i try to make sure it won’t roll anywhere. Some people have lost the thinking that says to be a good citizen and everything will run better in the world.

I usually grab 2 carts from the disabilities area as I'm heading into the store. Those people get a pass. Anyone else is just being discourteous and lazy.

I was waiting for my wife in the parking lot. Nearly every spot was occupied. People were coming out, emptying their carts, then rolling them into an empty parking spot. I'd had enough. The next guy came out, rolled his cart into an empty spot, I got out, got his cart and rolled it right behind him so he couldn't get out. Sometimes you just gotta get peoples' attention.

I would NEVER just leave a cart next to my car! I have been known to actually go around and collect carts left by people who have done that and return them all the way inside the store. It's not asking too much and it's the right thing to do. I completely understand for some elderly people but if you can put it in the right place, don't be lazy and block a parking space.

I find it amazing that most senior citizens (like myself) tend to return their carts to where they should be. The other day I mentioned to a women (can't call her a lady) that she shouldn't leave her cart in the middle of the parking space beside her because someone will want that spot. Her reply was the store hires people to come and corral the carts and return them to the store and if she returned it to where it should be she would be causing someone to lose their job. The warped reasoning she used to justify her laziness floored. I think that the Aldi's store has the right idea where you have to unlock the cart with a quarter to be able to use it. When you are done you return it to the cart line you use the key in the cart in front of yours to get your quarter back. It is seldom you will see any carts in the parking lot. A side benefit is a lot of people who don't want to return the cart offer them to someone else going in to shop so it saves them that quarter. I know it's not much money but I am the type of person who will bend down (not easy at my age) and pick up pennies that people drop on the ground.

That's the problem with those stiff tyres, sometimes in high grass or weeds you don't notice they are going flat until they separate from the rim.

I always park by a cart correll. This way, I don't have to walk it across the parking lot. Love your videos, DC. Sure, miss Summer's videos.

You should always put the carts up, help keep the carts lasting longer & keeps them from blowing around in a strong wind possibly damaging your vehicle . Don’t be Lazy!!

Sadly, in England most supermarket trolleys require a coin to be put into a lock to get it out of the rack, and if you want that coin back you have to bring it back. Not surprisingly we don't have many trolleys left by cars. For those supermarkets that don't do this you often see trolleys all over the car park and even by the side of the road up to a mile away as scroats use them to go home with! As we have no policemen patrolling they know they will get away with it.

Ridiculous to not return the cart. America is becoming so lazy. All is good till the uncoralled cart dents your car. Get your steps in and return the cart to the proper place.

It goes without saying that you put the shopping cart back where you took it. Only lazy people leave it by the car. Shame on you!

I *always* return my shopping carts to the storage areas. It's the proper thing to do. Grocery staff's work is hard enough without some lazy bum adding to it. Take responsibility people!!

Some vendors in Canada now charge you $1 or $2 to get a shopping cart because the lazy shopper left them all over the lot. You get the fee back when you return it.
